The mission of Citizens for Animal Rescue and Emergencies is the prevention of cruelty to animals and the relief of suffering among animals and to promote the best interests of the animals. In addition, C.A.R.E. encourages proper and humane practices by owners, dealers, humane organizations and all others associated with animals, their breeders, their trainers and their fanciers. C.A.R.E. encourages the adoption of laws, rules, ordinances or legislation found by the Organization to be in the best interest for the animals.
